I do believe in God because He exists in my life. I could not see Him but I could always feel His presence.. in the wonders of all things under my senses. From the moment I wake up each day till the moment I wake up the following day...God makes me see, feel, hear, smell, and touch the wonders of all the things that He alone has created. God gave me everything that I am and all that I have.

I acknowledge that there is no consensus on genesis, but I don't want to believe that it has anything to do with god.Iam not compelled to believe in a god without proof

Why do I believe in God? Because my experience with Him for 48 of my 70 years of life is REAL. I have known and experienced a RELATIONSHIP with my loving heavenly Father through the Lord Jesus Christ. He has been my constant guide and has undertaken for me in so many ways. I found out that God was real when I was 22 years old. Since then, I have studied His Word, the Bible, and have found so many proofs that it is true. Nothing in the Bible can be disproved, but the majority of it can be proved. In fact, much of it, written many hundreds of years ago, has only been "discovered" to be true in recent times. The biggest proof to me that God is real is my personal experience with Him. You might dismiss my experiences as "chance" or "circumstance" but I know differently. I rejoice at the way He undertakes when I trust Him. I rejoice at the way He gives me the right words when I am writing lessons. I rejoice at the way He fulfills His promises. I rejoice at the way He communes with me through His Word and through prayer. My God is real. I need no proof of His existence, because He is just as real as anyone I know.
