Trust as well as love have an equally important role in a marriage. I think both are equally important with trust being a shade more important than love. What do you suggest.

I think in order to love someone, you MUST trust them. You don't necessarily have to love someone to trust them. So basically, I think that love is definately more important, because it should include the factor of trust into it.

Thanks LPastor, you certainly have a point that love cannot happen without trust.

I agree with LPastor. You can't have love without trust. Yes you can trust without love, but true love cannot happen if you don't trust a person. So I think you have to have both to make a marriage work. You might be able to a have a good marriage with just trust but I would have to wonder how fulfilling it would be without love. So with that said I'd say you need love to have a great marriage.
