When should one consider getting tubes tied?

I actually thought about this from another one of my friends who posting about having babies over 40. Thanks for the post lady... However, I am 33 years old. I have 1 child, and honestly I am having mixed feelings about getting my tubes tied. I said when I am 35, I want to get them tied. However, my friends say I should wait it out a little longer. I guess my fear is I have a 11 year old which I call "semi-independent" and to think about diapers and all that, going through it again really sounds like a bit much to me. I don't know, just occasionally I think about it. I have been told, "maybe you will fall in love, or get married again" or "why don't you just take birth control" I do take birth control, however, it's not 100% effective. I really don't know...Could someone give me some advice. Maybe shed a little light to my situation...I do know you can have it reversed....That is another option as well...Please share your thoughts...

I myself would not do it just in case you ever decided to have another cute little preciuos baby lol. I would actually like to have another but I can't as my tubes are tied after my last pregnacy with the problesm I had. You are way too young yet!!
