Is it just me, or the lattes at some places FULL of sugar??

I mean enough sugar to send up into a hypoglycemic fit! I'd forgotten how overly sweet some of the coffee/espresso drinks are at the mall. I have hypoglycemia,and had forgotten to eat plenty of protein at dinner;then got a latte that was so full of sugar,my head was pounding in 15 minutes after sipping on half of it! Have you experienced a culture shock lately?

If you drink flavored lattes (a normal latte is just coffee and milk), they sugar level is not bad. However, if you add any sugar or sweetner to the coffee, it becomes much too sweet. Many coffee houses where you can order flavored lattes now have sugar free syrup. You would be able to enjoy your falovred latte without the worry of too much sugar.
