is it right to have a baby at the age of 16?

i think its not a good thing in having a baby for such a young age. She's still not ready to take responsiblity of the baby. My niece had her baby when she was 15. She stopped going to school, and she's taking care of her baby. And the father is also 15 years old then so now they are both jobless and they are livingi n my cousin's house.

my 14yrd old cousin had a baby. she knew who the father was, and amazingly he stayed around! but being that she was 14, she decided to run away..left the baby with him and her mother. they found her some months later upstate. she is now on welfare, doesnt go to school, doesnt have a job (probably couldnt get one without graduating highschool) and the worse part?! she is pregnant AGAIN!! which means she will apply for more welfare and put off finishing school even longer. personally i think she has pretty much set the path of her life. she will never finish school, and so never find a better paying job or career...and thus be stuck doing exactly as she is doing now. nothing, too young, and with 2 (or more) children.
