You have reduced smoking considerably, 6-7 is also too much per day. Try and reduce it to 1-2 per day, and bring it to 0. All the best

It has to come from within. As long as you doesn't feel the need to quit, there is no way we can persuade you. Trust, set some rules like not smoke in the house, etc. make it feel that despite the advices, continously, someone will remind you.

Smoking is really a addiction and not easy to quit all of sudden. But good thing is there are many rehabilition center for helping to get rid of these habits. Try them and make a great change in your life.

Quitting smoking is a really tough thing to do, but I think cutting dopwn like you have is a good start. Maybe you can reduce down to say 3 per day and finally none. Best wishes!

I think you are doing GREAT! I wish I could say that. It seems these days my stress level has been so high that I smoke more and more each day. I think about trying to quit, but I know that until I get myself to a certain "point" in my life, I will fail. I've tried to quit a few times before, but failed. Once I even had an anxiety attack (trying to quit too many things at the same time). Yes, it may be too late then, I hope not. But I wish you the best of luck!

Make a serious bet with another smoker saying i bet i can quit before you and hey presto your determined enough to quit. Cause if i were doing it i wouldn't like to lose £50 or £100.

you can stop smoking by taking it small by small..i mean you start 20-30 then reduce it to 6-7, now try to have 1-2 then 0...you can achieve it so dont you worry..its hard but you can do it beacuse of your will.. good luck!!!

Since you are already down to 6 or 7 a day, one thing you can do is buy a carton, open every pack, and let most of them get stale as you smoke the others. When you get to the last pack they will taste awful and you will be looking forward to finishing them and being rid of them.
