What placews do you go to? Do you ski? Do you go camping? Visit any lakes? Any great trails in the mountains?

This is going to sound pathetic, but we don't really go anywhere. When we take trips, it's always to visit family back home, and that only happens twice a year, unless something horrible happens and we have to make a special trip home. We just never seem to have the money to go anywhere. We sometimes drive around the more expensive neighborhoods and drool over the nice houses to kill an afternoon, but that's about it. Zack (non-verbal Autistic for those that don't know) doesn't really like strangers, so going anywhere with the kids isn't always easy. Also, finding someone we trust to take care of them so my husband and I can take some "alone" time doesn't happen until we go home, either.

I would love to spend some time in New Hampshire -- not exactly sure how far of a drive it is from my house, but from what I've seen, there is some beautiful country there. Maybe in the fall? would be a great time to check out the mountains!

Although I have never been to New Hampshire I do enjoy camping. Maybe that would be a nice place for a vacation one of these days. My kids and I like to take a vacation somewhere each year and we haven't decided yet where we will go yet this summer. I'll have to check into what kind's of fun things we could do along the way.

hello from up nawth! I do alot of driving around. always see something new. I love to hike and Mt washington is AMAZING for that. or just a simple walk in the woods durring foliage season. Snowmobile trail grooming in the wionter gets me out in the woods at night, nice and quiet except for the ocaisional friendly rider. If i want a little exitement, i travel down south to manchester of concord. Concersts, clubs. Then theres the beach, hampton is great when its not too crowded, i highly recomend a walk on it in the winter. its really a very differenmt experience. If you tour around new hampshire, take alot of back roads, you never know what your going to find (watch for moose). Greets from the northern part of the granite state!

I have found a stretch of road near Keene that has gorgeous fall leaves, mountain views, and scenic vistas. Route 9 between 89 North and Keene is absolutely perfect for this. The rocks on the road are orange, offsetting the green and fall colors, the mountains are viewable from several breathtaking curves on the road. I highly recommend it just for the scenic value. Also, Keene, is a very nice city, so worth the trip!

My parents used to bring my sisters and I up to New Hampshire on vacations when we were growing up. I remember covered bridges, My Crosby's cabins and canoe rides at Lake Winnipesaukee. I have such great memories up there. I have brought my daughters and my granddaughter there for vacation. They loved Story Land, Clarks Trading Post (the Bears!), the mountains, the train ride. I would love to go back up there. It is such a beautiful, peaceful place to relax and have fun.

My boyfriend lives in New Hampshire... I go there as often as I can and would lvoe to tell people all about how wonderful it is. The mountains are amazing, I come from Ontario, Canada. I thought we had a few mountains and nice rolling lands but New Hampshire is breathtaking. I am an avid snowboarder and definitely want to check out the mountains in the area soon as well. I ahve been going to NH for the last year and love it. The people are friendly, the little town (Lancaster) is wonderful! Can 't say enough good about it.
