well, i guess its the other way around. i remember when i was so angry/frustrated coz i got a low grade in school, i listened to a rock music and it made me feel good. at work also, when i feel tense, i listen to alternative music to help me relax a bit and sing along to the song.

If I'm in a bad mood, music can lift my spirits somewhat. But for me, I think my mood generally drives me to what kind of music I want to listen to. I enjoy all different kinds, and if I'm happy, I'll listen to happy music, and so on.

My mood does not depend on music, but music can sometimes change my mood. It is difficult to stay sad when I listen to my favorite artist singing a favorite song with a good beat. For instance, I have a new favorite group, Lakeside: http://www.lakesidemusic.com .. Listening to their songs raises my mood every time.
