Have you ever been totally broke?

I feel like I am always totally broke waiting for payday ever other week. It is a horrible feeling.

Almost all of my life. And how I felt? Simple. Desperate. Empty. I felt desperate AND empty. It felt as though I was running on fumes, and my wallet needs fuel. When my wallet is lean and starving like a starving Ethiopian in the barren wasteland deserts of Africa. It's all skin and bones, and its stomach is ROARING for some "greens". When my wallet is empty, I feel empty, as though it's deeply connected to me. When I open it up and see only the bus fare money I still have, it needs to be fed, and so must I. We are BOTH starving for money, and we are feeling financial hunger pains. That's how it felt.

I totally agree being broke is a terrible feeling.

Yes-I was totally broke once and hated it. It motivated me to change things and I will do everything to avoid that now

for me this is one of the worst feelings in your life, it has happened to me and always i say i will never let it happen again but seem to lol good luck keep on posting

The worst thing that made me feel broke was when i was terminated from my job. This happened during those times that i have no one to turn to. My friends were no where to find. That was really devastating that i have no savings then except just enough for that week. Thanks for my positive attitude that i was able to find a new job at once. SO it's rewarding staying strong during these times. Thanks
