I am a student in uk and i applied for COA?

hi ya..am a bit stressing coz in August, my boyrfriend asked me to marry him and since 7 august I sent a coA form to the homeoffice, they replied back and asking us more information about how we met and other proofs that we are genuinely together and we sent them an affidavit since the 8 september and our solicitor is advising us but we are still waiting for a reply from the home office...am on a student visa and my visa will expire at the end of october...i don't know what will happen...i have enrolled for my studies and i am thinking may be to also send an application for a student visa?
