What do you think about gambling?

I disagree that gambling is a waste of your money. Even if you are only gambling for entertainment purposes and you realize that the house has an edge in the game you are playing, the money that you lose (in the long term) is what you're spending for your entertainment, just like you would spend money on any other form of entertainment. Just as an example, let's say you're playing blackjack for $10/hand with a house edge of 2% (which is generally high if you know basic strategy) and you're seeing 30 hands an hour, which is about right. You will wager a total of about $300-350 (depending on if you need to double or split), and will lose on average 2% of that, or $6-7 an hour. This is not an outrageous amount of money to spend on entertainment.
