What do you think was the best decade for music? What decade is your favourite music from? Personally I see the 60's as an important decade for music, and I enjoy alot of music from the 60's, 70's, etc, as well as new music.

I think the 80's where the decade where music relly got that push it needed, most bands experimented a lot with new sounds and instruments, and most genres got solid from that decade on. Being mostly raised in the 90's though, I'll have to go with that decade, simply because most artists I like started out making music on that decade.

I agree 100% with you. 60's and 70's are by far the best decades for music, but there was some great stuff through the 80's and 90's too like Nirvana. A lot of new stuff is great too because it can bring together all the best elements of those that came before it.
