Do you sell on it? If so, what? Have you ever bought anything there? Who are your favorite sellers?

I love shopping on etsy! There are always some amazing finds that people make. Some of my favorite sellers are SoapyLove for her cute soapsicles, Gudonya for her whipped clean foaming face and body wash, Bobebathessentials for her awesome lip balms, and starrydesigns for the cutest jewelry items I've ever seen. I've purchased from all of these sellers and their items were great. It can get addicting looking through the many listings and one day I hope to be good enough to put up some of my work for sale on the site but I love seeing what other people are crafting out there! Do you have any favorite sellers or favorite items you've purchased?

I've bought from Gudonya before too. I've never had the whipped clean, but I've had her bath bombs, floaps, solid perfumes, lip balms, and body kiss.

I sell little crocheted creatures. http://stitchesandsteel.etsy.com is my store address. I also make chainmaille fashions, knit, sew, and a bunch of other things. I just can't keep my mind on only one craft! LOL.

I sell black and white photographs on etsy. (My username there is deborahrose.) I have also bought some really lovely things off of etsy. My favorite purchase is a necklace I got from ahna.etsy.com. (I'd upload a photo, but I'm not sure how...it's a metal heart with a skull and flames and jewels--absolutely spectacular!) Anyway, etsy is great--I love supporting artists!

I'll have to check it out. Have you thought about selling any of your prints on deviantart.com as well.

I just opened up a shop on etsy today, so I'm going to see how it goes there -- my shop is www.britachu.etsy.com I sell mostly hemp and beaded jewelry right now, but I will hopefully have some bags/purses, soap, candles, and a variety of other crafts on there sometime in the near future. I am a full-time college student as well as working part-time, so crafting is just sort of a weekend hobby for a little extra income, but I absolutely love it!

I sell several different things on Etsy: mostly crocheted items, cross-stitched items, sewn items, and collaged items. I've bought quite a bit of stuff from Etsy, both things for myself and presents for friends and family. My two favorite sellers are HandmadeHorrors and LushBoxInc. HandmadeHorrors makes cute goth jewelry, and LushBoxInc makes bath and body products.

I know about etsy and just recently opened a shop there in the past 24 hours. Currently I'm selling totes and wreaths. I'll have several more things up when I can get the chance to take pictures and as I am given the opportunity to become more creative! I think I want to make some cell phone charms and what not. We'll have to see how everything works out though. http://splendids.etsy.com

I guess I need to check this site out a little more than I did the first time I heard about it. Thanks for reminding me! I belong to a postcard exchange site (PostCrossing.com) and I received a fairy postcard from a woman in Canada - she said she got the card from Etsy.com and included the addy to her shop. I went and looked around for a minute but didn't have time to really explore and wasn't real sure what the site was. Listening to all of you talk about it - now I want to go and look again. Thanks so much! Good luck to everyone

I buy and sell on Etsy. In fact I just got a really cool zombie T-shirt from there. It's a great place for crafters to sell their wares. I know some people make a living selling there and other places. I have a 9-5 job and just sell my crafting on the side, but etsy is a great platform, and also really good for networking and finding out about craft fairs.

Id on't sell on etsy, but I do buy a lot of things on there. In fact, I found a person on etsy to make my halloween costume last year. One of my favorite sellers on there is Effulgent Crafts. Not only does she make great things, but she takes custom orders too.

I have yet to buy anything on etsy, but I have heard loads of good things about the bath and body seller Mad City Sue. The lush forum and makeupalley girls seem to love her scrubs. I still haven't gotten anything from her though because I keep going back to my favorites!LOL!

I buy and sell on Etsy. I love buying some of the bath/beauty products, as my son has eczema and commercial soaps that are supoosed to be good for his condition aren't really helping. I did find a couple of soap sellers that have soaps that are doing much better for him and he seems to be having much less of an issue this fall with his eczema. I enjoy selling on Etsy, the forum allow a seller to promote their items and I've made a few sales through the free promoting. My shop is creationsbyrobin.etsy.com and I make handmade jewelry and knitted items.

A couple of my favorite sellers are Kimberquinn and SouthPacificBody! I have purchased from both of them and most recently have bought a few items from SouthPacificBody and just loved them!! I continue to purchase my bath/beauty items from her, not only becuase she sells awesome merchandise, but because she's a fellow member of the ETSY NJ street team and lives fairly close to me (so my items are in my hand withing days!)
