My husband and I are on the second day of phase 2-the fast. We are hungry. What can we eat? The herbal tea, juice and water are getting old.

try and eat nothing! it's important to give your body the time it needs to cleanse while fasting. It's rare that your body goes without food for more than 48 hours, however during this time it's working at removing toxins and expelling other built-up items that your body doesn't need. If you do need to eat something, try and eat fresh fruits and vegetables. If this isn't enough, I recommend some Quinoa (found at Whole Foods and other health food stroes). This is a simple grain that Native American Indians often used. There's little gluten allowing your body to continue the cleanse, and it will fill you up.
