I am beginning to get interested in 3D animation. I have a pretty good understanding of modeling and mapping, but would really love to start animating the characters that I have designed. Anyone know of some good books or online tutorials that could give me the basics about it? Also some good programs to that work with Windows 98SE?

well if you are looking for concepts which are much more important than the actual software then i would suggest you to look for the website animation mentor. and also try to look at portfolios of different guys uploaded in you tube. that may also help a lot. it helps me too. i am also in to animation and i am looking forward to work as an animator. thanks Amitav Roy http://www.creativeporta.com
