she was 48, years old and she repeatedly ran over her husband, David, 44, with her Mercedes-Benz in the parking lot of a suburban hotel after finding him there with his mistress. She was convicted of murder in 2003 and sentenced to 20 years

i feel for her husband's family but to sue her for money is stupid. yes what she did was wrong and killing someone is not the answer, but he wronged her first. he should have learned how to keep it in his pants.

No man is worth that much money. And my question is what did he do? I think I heard about this and was kinda horrified and proud of her that she did this. The problem came about when she back up to do it again. Need to be right on the first turn!

I heard about this some time back from a friend and it astonished me. If he was cheating on her, then she should have just left him. I believe she also got twenty years in prison for killing him. I don't think any cheating person is worth that. Now she has ruined her own life.

Yes she has ruined her life, and she is in prison for twenty years. I could never do something like that.Just like you said why didn't she just leave him.

Wow. I think that that is a heck of a lot of money, and I wonder how anyone would be able to afford it. However, she did an incredibly horrible thing that she will probably be spending a good part of her life in jail for, in any case, so whatever money she owes she probably won't need. I know that she deserved something, but 3.75 million is more than I think most people earn in half their lives? I just can't imagine how a judge would award that unless they knew that the lady was rich?

The in laws do not deserve anything. I dont think the women should have ran over her husband but what do the inlaws have to do with it. They are not responsible for him cheating and they certainly dont deserve any money from his wife.

She has ruined her life, taken the life of another, and her afterlife doesn't look good either. What such rage can do is amazing. I hope that she also received psychiatric treatment while she was in prison because it's dangerous to have someone with that potential to do harm walking around the streets. People need to control their anger. If I thought for one moment that my husband was cheating I'd change all the locks of the house while he was out, wave at him from inside the window and tell him to make his own way in the world. And as he looks through the window I'll be burning all his clothes in a nice big fire in the fireplace. And good luck to the silly wagon that had cheated with him because he'd probably do the same on her in another few years.

Wowsers, that's a ton of cash but she wouldn't be paying the in-laws had she not killed their son. I would say that she reaps what she sows. Is that all the judge ordered for her punishment or does she spend time behind bars as well?
