how do you feel about uninvited guests ?

I don't like uninvited guests. But I find myself helpless in doing anything. We have to attend them fairly whether the guests are invited or uninvited. Nevertheless, when they go I request them always to make a planned visit so that they would have been better entertained and I appologise to them for any kind of lack of hospitaliy which occured due to unplanned visit.

For me it really depends on the guest. If it is someone who will rate how well my house is kept then I feel almost violated that they did not give me fair warning. If it is a friend who is coming to see me and not any messes that may be left behind then I am always excited to see them and happy for the surprise. But I must say that for the most part I really appriciate the heads up because I like my guests to feel welcome and comforatble and the best way to do this is to be prepared. Coffee on cookies baked that type of thing.
