Do you use solely iTunes or do you still buy CDs?

Okay, I have to admit it - I'm a music junky and I just can't help it. I have to keep myself from slurging everytime I hear a song I want to get on iTunes. I will still buy the occasional CD, but now I don't even have to go out to the store to get it (except for choral selections usually). Do you use iTunes? How much do you usually spend in a week, month, day *grin*? If so, do you buy the whole album or just a few songs? Do you still buy CD's? And, what are your all time favorite tunes??

I'm all about ITunes these days as I don't even buy CDs anymore. Itunes is great and you can buy the CD for cheaper on there.

The only problem I have is when I can't find the CD on iTunes. Beetles, Led Zepplin...there are several artists who won't allow their music to be sold there, I have found. I wonder why?

What podcasts do you usually listen to? I haven't really gotten into that much because I don't know much about it. And what exactly is limewire? I've not used it yet because I'm too afraid to get some kind of virus.

I buy a lot of songs from iTunes. It goes in spurts, sometimes I'll spend $40 or $50 at a time, others I'll just buy a few songs. It depends on what I'm looking for and how long it's been since I've updated the iPod. Sometimes I'll but a whole CD at iTunes, but only if I know and like most of the songs on it. I haven't bought a CD in the store in so long that I can't remember the last time. It's easier to make custom CDs from my music library.

See, this is what I'm starting to do, too. But my only beef with that is that not every CD player you find will play the songs. And I've not run into this problem, but some say music that you buy off of itunes won't burn to a CD and play on a regular CD player. Is that true?

Wow, big generation gap here. Some of our favorite music is still on the albumns that you play on a record player. I see some dusty 8 tracks of Heart, Bachman Turner Overdrive, Beetles, ABBA By golly there are some cassettes too!! I got a Taylor Hicks CD for Christmas...How am I doing so far? lol

Hey, don't feel bad - I still remember riding around in my Dad's VW stationwagon listening to an 8-track of the oakridge boys and "elvira"...one of my favorite memories is of dad singing along with that and then having that "ooga" horn that he'd blow all the time *grin*. I think I still have some records, somewhere too...
