what players should aston villa buy?

we know dat aston villa has got a good budget this time.but still they have not bought anyone as yet.who do you think they should buy to improve the squad and push for europe.
they have made a 9.65m offer for ashley young of watford , so let's see if that materializes

hi gurimitz.
ashley young meant to be signing on monday on a 4 and half year contract. hope so. he looks a good player to me and can play on both wings.
also rumours of carew coming to villa in a swap deal with baros going to lyon. a think most signings will come in the summer but a couple more for now would give us a good second half to the season.
up the villa!

i think they should sell baros but i don't think carew will be a good replacement

i think the carew-baros swap was a good bit of business by martin o'neill.
looking forward to seeing carew and ashley young on wednesday against newcastle and hopefully getting 3 points!

SWP would be a good acquisition - plus we need a solid centre back. Someone dependable like Mellberg but not someone who gets injured like Laursen.
I'm not sure about Young as I've not seen him play all that much - hopefully he will live up to the price tag.
Overall the squad needs to bulken up so we have more options.

ashley young is good player for them, but if they have enough funds they can buy fred from lyon, he is very telented player
