which way of studing is good the music or any other how one can study with music?

when i was younger i could study with music... almost any music... but now i can;t concentrate with music

i like studying with music on and i study only when i play some songs on my pc . but when i m reading theory sort of things then i switch the music off and when i m solving numericals then i switch it on.

It is possible to solve the sums of maths by listening to music but if you are mugging up any subject with full of concentration then this music would be like a total disturbance.
