I think its a wonderful idea. But honestly, its a topic i do not know enough about yet. I have no degree, but if i were to get one, i would like nothing better, than to earn it at home, online. Alot of people just don't have the time to get to classes and such. Great if You have a family you need to take of! Thanks :)

I believe online degrees are great. I finished up my undergrad online and I am almost finished with my masters online degree. I feel that it's basically the same, online is just more money for the convenience. As an online student I am doing all the things that the on campus students are doing. I am currently doing my internship and will be graduating in the next four months. I choose online because I hate sitting in a classroom. I would never do that again.

You should be careful when taking online education because you will never know your classmates and I don't think that the university is so stupid by creating an easy atmosphere for students to cheat. Perhaps, your classmate whom you want to cheat is your own instructor :-) Besides, advanced technology is so vigorous now. Thus, the university can have a real time technology development.

Some of us do not have a choice to go to college full time. We have to work to put food on the table, so to speak. As time is limited as well as finance, online education seem the best choice. Besides, we need to constantly upgrade our education level to compete at higher levels of our professions.

no offcourse its not good for individuals to get online degree....because we are not developing our communicaion skill and developing only writting skill...we need to have good communication skill to get in to some big positions in life..if we go to school and talk to other ,participating in events then that will increase our confidence to speak..

I think both are good. Online institutions are there to help people who don't have the time to go to a traditional school. You can do the assignments and stuff when you do have the time. I enjoyed the online class I had in college.

Online meant a ready to use anywhere. The best sort of way to become a maximum learning of all kinds of studies irrespective of fields. During womens natal period it is a best means of wayand also for eldest octavians even. Hence we cannot deny online education.

it is good because it will eventually lead you to have a degree, to be a college graduate. as long as you have a college degree, whether from a traditional way or a virtual way, having a degree is good. besides, not all that you've learned inside a classroom will be put into your job, you'll only know theories but it is still experience which is the best teacher. it is good also especially for those without enough time to go to work. it also applicable and most cost efficient for those without enough money to support theirselves in taking up a degree.

I think that online education isn't better than conventional education. I prefer to have someone that teaches and explain the things more nearest to me, because we can make questions and i prefer to listen and watch then to read.

No, I dont believe in online education for degree level courses. I believe education is transferred from a teacher to his student. He guide him, explains him and teaches him the principles and laws of science or any subject. Education is not only academics or books, its building your attitude, and development of your personal self.

absolutely, online education is a good method of the present education, as nowdays, people don't wanna spare their kids around the school premises, and just because of online education, they can see the recent methods of teaching in front of their child and just somehow at thier home too...

I don't think an online degree is real degree. Sometimes to learn we not only need to see the tutor and receive handbooks. Classroom is a good atmosphere to boost our spirit to learn.

studying in an institution is always better 1. u get the attention of the teacher 2. u know where u stand compared to your colleagues 3. in case of difficulties u have someone to clarify them with 4. online tests have a lot of cheating possible and hence cannot be considered standardized 5. most online courses are like degrees for sale. there is no proper evaluation system. u just pay and get your degree

For some people, obtaining a degree online is their only option, however, not all people benefit from this type of learning environment.Just make sure that the institution you choose is accredited nationally. Some of the online degree programs (2 years) can be acquired cheaper through a commuity college, most of whom are now offering online classes! I attempted to acquire my degree online once and did well for three months until I found out that I didn't acquire enough funding to cover enough of my expenses. It was going to be over $750 for me to complete ther next semester. My part-time earnings weren't enough to cover the expense so I had to dropout of my program.
