last night i had $1.92 which is all i made in the past 6 or so days ive been on here. so last night i refered 6 friends. all of whom have excepted and now are part of the mylot community. i answered about 20 questions last night, rated 3 or 4 people. and started 1 or 2 desicussions. i come on this morning and all i have is $2.12! this doesnt seem fair. i thought that making referals gets you about a dollor each, so im told, shouldnt i have more money??

You get money from referrals only if they earn money. You get a percentage of what they earn (25%) - there isn't a dollar for each referral as you quote. See the 'earn money' link at the bottom of the page to read the full info.

From what I read when I joined mylot, you get a % of what they earn. Say the person that you refer earns $2. They get $2 and you get a percentage of that. I have not found anything that says you get an actual referral fee [$ for everyone]. If you want to focus on making money, my suggestion is get your chattiest friends to join up under you. You gained $0.20. You said that you refered 6 friends [& they joined], answered about 20 questions, rated 3-4 people and started 1-2 questions. First the referrals, they joined but have they earned anything, yet? If not, you wouldn't see an increase from your friends joining. How did you answer the 20 questions? Were they short 1 or 2 line responses? Were they answers that pretty much said the say thing someone else already stated? Or were they well thought out replies that brought something new & unique to the discussion? I don't know if you earn anything for rating people. You help others with their over all rating. So I look at rating people as "do unto others as you would have them do unto you". As for your discussions that you started. Have you had replies? Were your discussions quality or were they ones that could be answered with yes or no? I hope this was helpful.Depending on how you were to answer these questions, you might find your earnings are on mark. Cathy

I think when your refered person will earn money from mylot you will earn a % of their earnings. Not as you said $1.00 for each one.It may be wrong but as I understand this system!!!
