How do you prepare your turkey and do you use a bag to roast?

I cook mine in a bag and I think it really helps it. It's always really moist. My sister-in-law cooks hers upside down, it helps the white meat to be a little more juicy.

I have never used a bag I saw my older sister use a bag once. I myself prefer to use foil or a covered roasting pan.

I've never used a bag to roast my turkey. I've always cooked them really slow (usually overnight with the oven set at about 225). After I wash them, I cover them in bacon, add a small amount of water, put the cover on the roasting pan and let them go. The bacon keeps the turkey moist and eliminates the need for basting it.
