Cnet announced, that they predict the 4gb iphone, will drop down to around 350 within a few months, providing you buy a contract through cingular. With this being said, will you be interested in buying one? i personally am not a fan of the iphone, because i wanted it to be basically, and ipod with a keypad. And, if you havent seen it, it looks NOTHING like an ipod. Thoughts? concerns?

I am loving apple's recent designs though a full touch screen phone may be a bit awkward at first especially for most users. I am interested in buying one, though it may become just as stylish and the moto razor or something of that sort and will become just as much a fad as the ipod. An ipod with a keypad would seem a bit weird, maybe because I'm just used to the ipod design as is. The iphone though has many great features and of course the style alone is pretty good. I 4gb iphone at 350 isn't bad seeing as how treos and blackberries are going for a similiar prices though they don't have as much to offer or a whole new concept as much as the iphone. Sounds like it will be a winner though with most people because from what I heard, most teens and even some adults are looking to buying the phone as well. What I'm wondering is how cingular got the exclusivity for the phone or will they make the phone in a different version for other carriers like the treo.

Great input, when i said ipod with a keypad, i was thinking along the lines of the chocolate cell phone. Basically, and ipod mini, with a color screen, and keyboard that slides out on the bottom, so when the phone is "closed", it appears to be a regular ipod. The new iphone runs on mac osx, which slightly upsets me, b/c that os is not very impressive in my opinion. With the specs the iphone has, it could support much bigger and better things. But i'll be honest, if it was like 100 dollars, i wouldnt hesitate to buy one. I'm an ipod guy, but a windows user at heart. I own a zune, lol.

i actually own a zune, as you can see from my pictures. It's such a better deal, the picture quality and size is absolutely stunning. It has an fm radio (unlike the ipod) and you can send songs from zune to zune wirelessly! i cant watch movies on the ipod video, but i have watched full length films on my zune. The zune is also more personal, it allows you to add your own backround to things and change everything. Plus its durable. My zune hit a curb while i was running, (fell out of my pocket) directly onto the screen, and nothing happened. i snowboard with my zune and it doesnt break, i was shocked.
