Are you a sentimental person or a practical person? I guess this would also answer if you would keep your wedding gown or sell it? I don't consider myself a sentimental person and I would really like to sell my wedding gown, but no one has bought it yet. Haha. I just don't like keeping old things in my closet because all it does is gather up dust and clutters my closet.

I totally understand where you are coming from. I have been married, and divorced. and my wedding gown is still hanging in my closet. I won't never wear it again, and it's just taking up space. I'm suppost to be getting married again. And of course i won't be wearing the wedding gown i wore at my first wedding. (THAT"S BAD LUCK) anyways, i do need to sell it. i just don't know where to begin.

I still have my wedding dress, partly because I need to get the bottom hem dry cleaned- the lace gathered dirt from walking around the floor of the reception hall. Secondly, because my grandmother made it for me, so it's very special. :)

really!! You want to sell your wedding gown? nwaz, you know what, all my wedding stuffs, like invites, std, bridal accessories, souvenirs etc were all kept in one wooden box and we kept it and have it frame pa, but it's cute. but for my wedding gown, well, it's just stuck at my cabinet after a long dry clean. heheheheh

I love my dress and I am keeping it. it was alot of money and if I sold it I think my husband would have a heart attack lol!! plus if my next child is a girl I would want her to wear it on her wedding day.

I would want to keep my dress for sentimental reasons. I would have it packed up nicely so I can keep it looking like new. I would want my children to have the option of wearing it or letting there fiance wear it if they would want to carry on the tradition as well. Not that they would be expected to. Have you seen all the craft ideas you can use a wedding dress for? If you can't sell it and want to make use out of it check some of them out. My Aunt used hers to make a christening outfit for her son when he was born.

I'm keeping my wedding gown. I think it is only because my Mom still has hers. She didn't have much money when she got married and her wedding dress was made by a friend. The girl who modeled it was shorter than my Mom. It was a mini dress but it was really too short for her because the girl was shorter. I always loved that dress though. I remember as a little girl I would get in the closet and look at it.

I would keep it. I still have mine. My great aunt made it just for me. I never acctually got married in it either, lol. I had it on for a few hours for pictures and that was it. But because it was handmade for me by family is what makes it so special.

This a problem I have no answer to because my wedding gown was stolen by the person who made it for me. I would have loved it if I could have shown it to my daughter but alas. So everybody enjoy the luxury of makig a choice between keeping or selling it.
