It's your "Rating" dependant on several factors such as number of posts made, positive feedback, negative feedback (which decreases the rating) and best responses.
Points go towards = money.
Apparently each point is the equals roughly two cents.

This is by far the best user moderation system I have ever seen. It awards and deducts points directly, which has a deep link with money, our aim.
Posting great content not only increases your points, but also help myLot to get better search engine ranking, which leads to more money.

it shows the number of posts done by that user + number of resonse he got on his comments..
is it fine?
