The discussion and contradiction is common in many couples and none of them can decide what is exactly true. What's your experience? how could you decide? How one should come to a conclusion?

I think that for a person/couple to decide on how many kids to have they first need to look at if they have the funding to care for those kids, then they need to decide on what they can handle. My husband and i have decided on 3 if we can ever have any children. Because we know that that's what we can handle, afford, and love. i think those are the most important things.

We have 2 boys, if we have any more then we will have to move to a bigger home at great expense. I would like another baby but with the home, finances and a special needs child to consider, it would not be sensible for us. I would love to have lots of kids round the home but do not feel that I'd cope too well so it tears me up inside as Shrek, bless him, really does fel that 2 is enough. I think if you can afford to give them a good life and home and the things they need/want then it's completely personal to the family how many kids to have.

kids - how many kids a couple should have
I've not realized that there could be contradiction in this case. We've decided to have only one...!
