These are etiquettes and manners taught to us from the childhood and holds good for ever. If unknowingly some thing wrong had happened, it is always better to say sorry so that person will not get angry, irritated or sometimes he may shout. By saying sorry (sometimes I am really sorry) will help to make even the worst enemy to give a smile and say 'NEVER MIND'

As long as sorry is a not an abusive word, let any body get addicted. No harm. If they use it in right place, for right person and at right time, it will be wonderful.

its right to say sorry after doing a abd deed..but as far as i am concerned that sorry itslef will not solve the prob...it will take to forgive that person..but if its someone reallyy close to me..then sorry enough...i think so!

for me if someone does something to hurt me or something, it takes more than "sorry" to gain, my forgiveness, but it really depends on the person. If it's someone whose always had my trust then yea "I'm sorry will make it things slightly better".
