I wont say that which movies are more meaningful. Its just the movies are the reflection of the culture there. I think indian movies are more oriented toward personal relation and emotional bonding, whereas hollywood are movie away from personal relations.

i think that and personally feel that indian movies are less on innovativeness and more on emotional spree and they only show emotions. while hollywood movies go on showing and coming with new things like superman, spiderman, resident evil, matrix and many more bollywood makes only love and romantic movies. they don't give us new concepts.

They might be, if you guys would get some subtitles and better promotion in the Western nations going. I've seen a few Bollywood things, and fascinating as they are from the perspective of cultural differences alone, my Hindi and Urdu isn't that good, in fact it borders on non-existent, except for some 19th century military slang I've heard. I can watch European movies and know a bad translation when I hear one, but to have to leap the gulf of culture and language does require a bit of doing. Seems strange that the second biggest English speaking nation on Earth would have this problem.
