Is it a good idea for individuals and companies to have New Year Resolutions?

i think its good to have new year resolutions so that you will really have the eagerness to do it..i have lots of new years resolution, just wanted to share to you..i need to change my outlook in life, be more patient, more positive, and more healthy, with lots of happy mind, happy face coz last year is very bad for me, to have new work this year for my daughter, not to be inlove so much coz i'm really afraid to hurt again, not to become fool when it comes to love..lol hope so!! actually, i really made lots of new years resolutions only this year coz i really wanted to have changes in my life.. i will try to do all of what i need to do..
