Next August i'm going on a mission to Mozambique and the place where i'm going to stay has 30% of the population infected with AIDS! What cautions may i have while i'm there?

Dont have S*X with ANYONE!!, wear rubber gloves when in contact with anyone's bodily fluids, cover ALL cuts/abrasions on your body, Avoid the hospitals, hope that you dont need a blood transfusion/stay in hospital while there, and generally be sensible.

Make sure you wear gloves, I worked in a Dialylis center before I was a Tech-Asst. and one of the patients had aids. I was scared to work with him, but you can't get it by touching but. be careful. try not to get blood on you. avoids fliuds from them.if you get an open cut be careful not to touch them.

Yup, the priest that is the responsable for sending us warn us not to help someone that is bleeding on the street by touching him/her! Because sometimes we don't think, we act by instinct!
