At first place I put Hatebreeder album! it is one of the greatest metal album. After of it I choose Follow The Reaper! If you like Children of bodom, there is a similar band like them called Norther. The stile is like cob but less complex, solos aren't as good as Alexi!

I don't think any band comes really close to CoB in quality, they're a bit alone in their "own league". Norther are very average, they have a couple of decent songs but most of their stuff makes me cringe...

there are many bands in CoB style, but they're definately inferior in quality...i will agree with you in that.

Mine is probably their debut album in which they feature a more raw production, which is a thing I really like. So it's Something Wild for me. In second place would come Hate Crew Deathroll, followed by Hatebreeder.
