I liked nirvana songs when I was young. It rox! I like them coz they are pure popular, and they kinda releasing my headaches. Come to think about it, what are they singing and what is are they trying to convey to us as song lovers? Take for example the most popular song, Smells Like Teen Spirit. "Load up on guns, bring your friends, It's fun to lose and to pretend, She's overbored and self assured, Oh no, I know a dirty word Hello, hello, hello how low? With the lights out, it's less dangerous, Here we out now, entertain us, I feel stupid and contagious, A mulato, An albino, A mosquito, My libido, Yay, a denial." Huh? Do people like it for plain fun of the songs? What makes Nirvana so popular? What do you like about Nirvana? What do you think about Nirvana? Do Nirvana songs adds to your headache or you feel better off listening to their songs? =o)

I don't really think the song has any meaning at all. People say it was an idea of a music revolution based on contradictory ideas. That's why he says a denial. Most of his close friends though say they have no meaning because they see him write the song about 5 minutes before he sings them. In an interview he also points out that he gets frustrated by people asking him what the meanings of his songs are when, in reality, there are none. He gets sick of having to tell lies to people so they could leave him alone.

i guess he found his songs no meaning and therefore he himself is meaningless and so he ended himself. =o)
