Is our youth depressed and losing faith in adults?

I have seen a trend in our youth that scares me. A lot of our youth seems dark and gloomy with little respect for adults. Is this because they have lost faith in us?

Excellent. Even when I went through some rough years as a teen I respected my elders. It's good to hear we still have some youth that know about respect. Thanks

This is the flaw of the modern world these days. In east there is still respect for adults but in the west due to the fact that everyone wants his total freedom does not allow this respect to exist.

I am not sure I understand your response. Because our kids want their freedom they are the way they are?
