do u belive tat animals are able to foresee the forthcomming events. there are many cases where animals are able to know many diastrous things like earth quakes, accidents etc.i had such experiences in my life with my pets. so i belive it not to be a superstition. what is your opinion?

i kinda beleive it too, like the cows laying down even days before a rain storm, and other things. i think animals have some type os sixth sence that humanss either never had or lost while inventing all these modern day things that tell us. i sure wish i could do that like they do, that would be pretty cool.

I believe that they have that extra sensor that tells them when something is about to happen. Several years ago, when the earthquake hit San Francisco and Santa Cruz, my dad was standing out in the side pasture. All of a sudden, the dog and the two sheep took off to the other pasture on the other side of the house. Sox (the dog) started barking nonstop, and the sheep stood totally still, quivering. About 10 seconds after that, the quake hit, knocking my dad to the ground (but he was ok). So I think animals are able to be little "future tellers".

It's probably a myth, legend or what we used to call "old wives tale" Most myths, legends and "old wives tales" are based on fact. My dog used to freak me out when she saw something we couldn't used to tell her to keep it to herself :D as I did not need to know that she could see it or them or spirits.

I studied in Greece and while I was there during 1980 there was a strong eathquake in Athens. More than a hour before, my dog started to cry for no opvious reason. After the earthquake, many of my friends said that they had notice the same thing with their dogs. I do not know if dogs can foresee earthquakes but it is a strong possibility
