Group B Strep

I went in for my first prenatal visit and had a battery of tests ran. It not uncommon they run tests on everyone that walks in the door. However I was diagnosed with group b strep already. I didnt think they tested for that until the end of pregnancy. What risks could there be for having it this early in pregnancy? The doctor put me on antibiotics and said it was imperitive that I take them however they made me sick to my stomach so I never took all of them. What would be the risks?

I'd have to agree...get a second opinion to be sure.
My doctor didn't test me until 37 weeks...weird that your doctor did so early.

That is strange I would suggest a second opinion. Make an appointment to see different gyn and see what they say. Best wishes on a healthy happy baby...
