Should gays be allowed to marry?

I was wondering how many people were for gay marriage and how many were against it and why? I have gay family members and gay friends, so to me there is nothing wrong with it. Gays should be allowed to be happy and live a full life just like everyone else.

I believe marriage is over rated anyway, I think it should be replaced with a contract between any two people entering into any sort of a relationship, mainly spelling out what each party brings into the relationship so distribution of assets is easier when the partnership is over.

Even thought it goes against my beliefs, I will respect and honor a marriage between gay people, I dont have the right to judge those people, only one person has that right.
