In my school days I was asked to tell my aim in life. My aim was to be an Engineer. I managed to succeed in doing so. But many of my friends have not been able to fulfill their aim in life. It makes them frustrated. But they just can't rewind things anymore. So, they have to accept what they are now. What about you? Have you been able to fulfill your childhood aims?

I'm glad to have this kind of topic. Eversince childhood days, I alwalys dreamed of becoming either a computer engineer or a military officer someday. But when I graduated from high school the opportunity to get into military academy did'nt came so I decided to pursue my other dreamed which is to become a computer engineer and I was able to achieved it. Now, everytime I see a soldier still there is a desire to me to wear a uniform of a soldier. Im not closing my doors to it 'coz I really want to take part of serving my country.

Very contradictory choice! Anyway, if you are otherwise elegible why not join as a technical staff in the army?

i used to have plans in taking up a computer course in high school days because that was where i excelled the most. unfortunately, my plans didn't work because most of the elderlies and the know-knows suggested versatile courses like accountancy, so i took up accountancy instead. fortunately, i passed this course.. it has been okay for me.. sometimes we should take into consideration the advices of others than taking our own steps, coz they're the experienced ones who know more about how to deal with life.

I appreciate that more experienced elderly persons surrounding you have suggested you to follow a conventional track. But for me, it does not sound nice that someone forces you to follow a certain track rather than following the career of your choice. Anyway, if you are happy, then, I must not instricate a sense of dissatisfaction within you.

Yes, when i was about seven years old my goal in life was to become a successful nurse like my mother. I did good in school and was even active. When i reached my college year that was 1999 my cousins who are nurses actually discourage me to take up the course because of the lack of opprotunities to work so i did followed them and instead i took up business administration. there was still hunger for me to still become a nurse so when i reached my junior year, the nursing profession boom which means more work opportunities both here inthe country and as well in other countries so i was more encourage to shift but my mother did not approve. She told me that in order for me to take up nursing i need to graduate first from my course and so i did. After graduation, i enrolled in nursing and for three years, i was able to adjust to the new subjects and as well classmates. and i did love everything about it. I graduated last march2006 and just recently i passed the licensure exam. i guess i really did reach my goal to be a nurse. right now im just looking forward to work not only here in my country but as well work in other countries. the important lesson ive learned from the experiences i had in the past is that, if we really want something, there is no impossible just learn to work hard.

Very odd obsession, I've seen people rarely aiming to be a pilot. You must have certain reasons, difficult to guess though, to have such aims.
