I was told that this is a new entry found in latest version of some dictionaries. I will check this out. I don't know how you feel about it but personally, I think this is unfair. Any reaction?

i think there is still the original meaning of the term FILIPINA,due to crisis or hardship in philipines pinays accept job like DH,HELPER in other country just to support their family..they cannot find job in their own country that's why they plan to go abroad to make money for their services.other countries like pinays to be their servant because anything or works they can handle it even it is hard for them just to eran money.

Yeah.for me its kinda degrading. But we can change it.When time comes other country will look us up. They will change their point of view as well as the definition in the dictionary.

True that most filipinas who work abroad end up being DH's or servants, but at least these people work their hearts out to make a living and earn for their families, not for themselves only. It's unfair though that they know filipinas as such because it sounds degrading on our part, but at least filipinas have the drive to do things they know, and actually earn than doing nothing at all!
