I have seen a few links to personal and non profits spread out through myspace that support/donate to charitable causes, people in need, people who are sick, ect... I want to bring all of these links together so maybe we can help. I also want to add a page to my site with all of these links as well. My site is http://lilmama.i8.com. I am also an affiliate of an online business in which all of my commisions are donated to my cousin who is terminally ill with leukemia and gvhd. The link is http://stuffafriend.biz/members/lilttownmama. If you would like to promote your site feel free to list it here, but please only sites that are for a cause, no personal blogs and such. Thanks:)

Research, research, research......Check out ALL of the sites beforehand. There are too many sites that appear to be charities for different causes, that are total fraudulant scams. Also, make sure these sites don't want you to get permission to post a link. I know it sounds silly, but many sites have a link policy, some require you use their logo/banner instead of a text link, and others that do not want you to post their logo/banner. Do your homework and I wish you luck with this project.

thanks for the advice, preferably I want to use peoples personal websites or businesses, like my stuff a friend business site, for some reason I feel that individuals in need could really use the help more than an organization, not that they cant use the donations, but often individuals are over looked and struggle greatly with medical bills and what not.

I think that's a great idea, bringing all those links together. However, before linking anything to your site, I'd suggest checking out the site you're linking, and making sure it's legit. You wouldn't want one of your friends going to your page, finding some nonprofit or charity that looks really good, donating to it, and finding out it's a scam...So I'd say read each site thoroughly and search for information about the companies before you link to them. That's very cool what you're doing for your cousin. I've had a couple friends come close to dying from leukemia. Both have been in and out of remission several times, and you never know when it'll come back...I lost one uncle to it several years ago who was never lucky enough to go into remission.
