Would you do anything to change the status of your life?

What do you think of people from third world countries who marry to move abroad? Or those who sell all their land for a chance to work abroad? It's so sad that everyone wants to leave the Philippines but no one seems to care about us Filipinos anymore. I think it would be better if we are to be colonized by America. The government needs to improve and I don't think it will happen anytime soon. What are ways do you think that countries like ours need to do to get some real change around here?
