Am I a cheapskate for only buying and shopping when things are on sale?

I don't buy just because they are on sale. I wait until what I want is on sale. I just think some things are ridiculously priced, am I a cheapskate for being the way I am?

Nope, I don't. But also build wealth for the long run. Saving is just a means. If you save 10% per annum in a good equity fund, you will be able to retire in 20 to 22 years with an inflation adjusted income equal to your current salary. So save!

you are not a cheapskate,you are just a bargain shopper that knows what you want an get get at a fair price .im like you i dont buy anything because its on sale.i wait till i can get what i want at a price i can afford,
