There are many ways to obtain music online. As mentioned above SoulSeek (www.slsknet.org) is quite good. Another great way to obtain single songs (Full albums, sometimes. You've just got to look for .rar files.) is eMule. (emule-project.net) BitTorrent is also good, and is my preferred method of P2P. uTorrent (utorrent.com) is the BitTorrent client I personally recommend, another good one is Azureus (azureus.sourceforge.net). You can find torrents on Torrentz.com. Here are many other links to torrent sites; filesoup.co.uk/forum/index.php?act=links. There are also a few direct link indexing sites that may have what you're looking for. www.avaxhome.ru & rapidshared.org. There are many more then that, but, those're a few.

i used to use kazzaa, there is also kazzaa lite. then i used bearshare for a while. i loved it. had a lot of stuff on it and was fast. now i'm on limewire. i actually think i'm going to go back with bearshare. limewire doens't seem to have a lot of the stuff i'm looking to download.
