Best way for Mosquitoes

for children, i learned from my parenting egroup and from mom.exchange.ph that pure citronella oil mixed with a bit of olive oil applied to children's clothing can repel insects away from them. i also learned from somewhere that the color blue attracts mosquitoes, so don't wear blue pj's to sleep nor use blue blankets and bed covers.
