Is The Simpsons past its sell-by date

I was just wondering what everybody thought about the length of time the simpsons has gone on for, i certainly cannot remember a time without it! Is this a credit to the shows writers, and should they stop in the face of cartoons such as Family guy, American dad, king of the hill, futurerama

Despite what I think-- I love the Simpsons and I wis they'd never end-- I think that the new movie coming out this summer is a sign that the show doesn't have much longer to run. And actually, its been a good run and I would be relieved if it finally ended and on a positive note.

I am just surprised that they can still come up with original storylines after all these years! Most shows couldn't do that. They must have a great writing team!

I think that there is one more season left after they do the movie. thats what bart said when she was here in australia on a promo tour. i wish it never ended either but you can only be 10 8 and 1 for a while before you start getting asked when will you grow up. and who will speak for maggie?

i grew up with the simpsons. it started when i was just 2 and ive been watching it since then. it is amazing how long they kept the show going. most shows die out after only a few seasons. im sure family guy and all of the other ones will continue too or at least i hope so lol. idk with the whole movie thing though, that might change peoples thoughts on it and might not. i just hope it keeps running is all.
