greed as as a penultimate attitude of man that corrupts the world..yes or no?

greed covers all like money, power, and social admiration and the likes...this results to the exercise of greed in the form of violence, cheating, deciet, war, oppression, corruption, killings, and the likes...which makes the world chaotic and cruel, had there been no greed in the hearts of men, this world would have been a better place, where unity supreme and peace amongst mankind prevail...(less greed is less chaos, less cahos less laws, vise versa)your opinion and comments will be most welcomed...peace(SHALOM)to all friends.

i agree with quite a bit.....greed leads to other vices like jelousy,hatred,...and other darker aspects of a person. but i'm not very sure whether removing greed would do away with all the problems.

greed in addition to pride is what corrupts the world. Pride puts the self in the center of man's existence and everything revolves around the self and to satisfy the pride. The desire to serve and satisfy the pride produces greed.
