After getting the form and top run getter for Indian batsmen in South Africa, should former skipper Sourav Ganguly "Dada" open the batting in the eight ODI series at home and the World Cup in Jauary-April 2007?

He did open the innings for india and he must continue to do so for the remainder of his career bcoz he is one of 2-3 players in the team who are perfect in pacing their innings for the 50 overs...sehwag cant do that nor can sachin as they are primarily strokemakers.....sourav can effectively hold up an end while the others can do their respective jobs.....also the fact that he is a left hander adds to his utility as there aren't many good bowlers in the world against lefties....not many know that he is third in the all-time list and numero uno indian in the list of six-hitters in ODIs....keeping all this in mind i m sure that he must open for india and not bat anywhere else.

Yes Prasad, it seems to be, he is in good form. It is better to keep him as an opener. His call back is certainly a raise the hopes of worldcup.

Yes he is the best batsmen on current form basis to open the indian innings and should be alowed to open the innings as his potential can be best utilized at that place

i am great fan of Tendulkar & DADA, & i think that 'Dada' must open the Indian innigs, because Dada have a lots of experience & guts also. he can improvice himself, if he set a bis score then opponent must got a helfless position.
