Were Jesus and Mary Magdalene lovers?

This has cause alot of controversy, she was one of Jesus's most faithful servants. I know from reading some books and internet passages, that more are starting to believe that she was married to him. They also mention that they had a child together, but that cant be proven yet.

I have read the same story from other source but what I understand from the story is they were in deep love. I do not know the kind of love they were involved.

This is a real disturbing controversy that rocks the foundation of the catholic faith. The author of Da Vinci Code had written a quite convincing book, laying down historical facts and data. I think the reader of the book or the viewer of the movie should understand that no theory in the story have been proven yet, though it is very convincing, we should based our beliefs through facts and proven historical data not on investigative books and fictional movies.

Jesus and Mary Magdalene were not lovers. Frankly, I disagree when you said "accurate portrayal" because it implies it has basis at all. The Da Vinci Code is a fiction nonetheless. It has Achilles tendon vulnerable against the last supper. In fact, the holy grail itself means the weakness of Dan Brown's speculation.

da vinci code is only a ordinary book or story. just read a bible and you know what is the real true.

These are my thought regarding Mary Magdalene and Jesus. The fiction of it all put doubt in the believers of Jesus Christ, but this has no merit, nor any biblical evidence that this is true. The history of it all is intriguing and makes perfect since why they would want to pervert the truth of the true deity.
