We all know that Harry is very brave. He proved it by slaying the basilisk in the 2nd year and through many similar acts through out the series.Don't you think that he is a bit rash and hasty and impatient sometimes? He shouted at his best friend hermione in the end of fifth year for saying the truth. He is taking some very risky decisions in the last two years. He asked Hermione to ask the help of the DA to fight the Death Eaters if they arrived. The students lives would have been at risk if the plan of Voldemort was not to kill Dumbledore. We know that he takes Ron and Hermione into every danger but now he is involving others too. He has definitely thinking better than before by giving the luck potion but still he is not able to think clearly in danger. Thanks to his skills he saves the day again.

well I wud just like to say that Harry has always been marked all his life and so it is correct if he a bit paranoid and we know that since he has to fight the Dark Lord so he thinks everything is his fault....... To the point that he is reckless but brave nonetheless ......... well he has to be reckless bcoz it has always been true that the Brave have always beeen reckless and the recklesness only causes BRAVERY in turn............ If u think too much like Granger then u gain nothing while acting on impulse maybe a bit rash but is always correct and brave

I think its all about the situation he lands in. He doesnt carelessly land himself in trouble but trouble finds him. But whatever trouble he lands in, he believes that he can pull it through. That is why his friends believe him or maybe he is too famous to be regarded as a sucker.

harry isnt reckless, he has grown throughout the books, and is now shown as a very grown up, mature, young man...i think this will be good for the readers too, as they are growing up with harry and co :D
