The 300. I can't wait to see this movie.

Considering I briefly studied the Persian battles in History I'm eager to watch the movie. The Battle of Thermopylae depicted by Frank Miller, this will be quite interesting. Apparently it is actually fairly accurate besides the monsters that were added in.

i've seen the trailer of this movie and it looks awesome, especially the graphics, they are very different and look like they're out of a really cool videogame, i really like this one scene when some guys pushes this other guy into a well like thing, it looks like it's not to be missed, definitely a big screen flick. can't wait for it!!!

i've seen the trailer too when i went tothe movies last weekend. i'm not much for violent flicks but i would have to say the cinematography was fantastic. i think every shot was done and executed artistically, not to mention the digital add-ons that made it look so graphically well. maybe i'll watch it too.

I think that Frank Miller can make the movie exciting, not that the subject needs it. I haven't read the graohic novel, but I studied the battle in college courses and I also read a novel by Steven Pressfield called The Gates of Fire. This was a great retelling of the battle that incorporated some dramatized "history" of the Spartans and the way they trained and their attitude toward fear and bravery. Let me just say I'm expecting no more realism than I got from Sin City, but it doesn't mean I won't enjoy it. I often think Troy would have been better if it had been told not as a historical dramatization, but a mythological interpretation. Perhaps 300 will not be so stiff with the more dramatic characters/monsters. I only hope they don't add a romantic vein just to appeal to the masses, this story doesn't need it.

300 is an absolutely terrific movie. the attitude, the valour the spartans display send a chill down my spine. so much to keep their honour. they challenged and even demured a person who projected himself as god. i think they were bogged down by the wrong priests who just had no respect for these warriors. my personal favorite line in the movie when the king says : SPARTANS NEVER RETREAT!!!!!!!!!!. the greatest sequence when the king as a young lad fights the beast and also , when he kicks the intruder into the well..

300 is one good movie to watch, everything about this movie is excellent. The graphics is too good, the way the fight between the army is taken is good. You must have probably have seen this movie by now, if not it's one of the must watch movie, you have to see it ...
